This working group focusses on the use of burden of disease in the field of infectious diseases. Specific objectives include:

• Map existing burden of disease activities in the COST region
• Reach out to international initiatives in the field of infectious diseases
• Develop specific applications in the field of infectious diseases
• Develop methodological advances in the field of infectious diseases
• Interact with transversal activities
